01Overview

GenXus Consulting LLC ("GenXus," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at genxusconsulting.com and provides AI automation consulting services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your information.

We are based in Houston, Texas, and our practices are designed to comply with applicable U.S. privacy laws including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Where applicable to visitors from other states, we honor reasonable equivalent rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

02Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details when you submit our website contact form, email us, schedule a consultation, or chat with us via our website widget — including name, email address, phone number, business name, and the contents of your message.
  • Service information we need to deliver our services to clients — including business processes, workflows, vendor names, and any operational data you share with us during our engagement.
  • Payment information processed by our payment provider. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Communications — emails, text messages, and call recordings (where lawful and disclosed) between you and GenXus.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical & usage data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. Collected via standard server logs and analytics tools.
  • Cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, performance, and analytics. See Cookies & tracking.

Information from third parties

If you connect to GenXus through a third-party platform (for example, social media or a referral partner), we may receive limited profile information that platform shares with us under its own privacy policy.

03How we use your information

  • Send marketing emails or SMS where you have opted in (you can opt out at any time).
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Analyze website usage to improve content and performance.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

04Sharing & third parties

We share personal information only with the limited categories of service providers needed to run our business. These vendors are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we direct.

05Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site. Categories include:

  • Strictly necessary cookies required for the site to work.
  • Performance and analytics cookies that help us improve the site (for example, Google Analytics).
  • Third-party widget cookies set by the chat widget when you interact with it.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, but you can opt out of analytics tracking via Google's opt-out tools.

06Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, CCPA, or comparable laws:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete personal information we have collected (subject to legal exceptions).
  • Port your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal information, or profiling. (GenXus does not sell personal information.)
  • Appeal a decision we make about a request, if you believe it was made in error.

To exercise any of these rights, email rened@genxusconsulting.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 45 days under the TDPSA, with one possible extension).

Marketing opt-out

You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing message. You can opt out of marketing SMS by replying STOP to any SMS we send. See our SMS Consent page for full details.

07Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and vendor due diligence. No system is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever experience a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.

08Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations (tax records, contracts), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

09Children's privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and adults over the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us at rened@genxusconsulting.com and we will delete it promptly.
